Ankle boots are our hardest working shoes; come rain or shine, sun or snow, we expect them to take us to work, to party and get us back home (all while being comfortable!) This season is no exception. Look out for shoes that are buttery soft (look to our supplier BRUNATE, an Italian brand that produces divine leather or CRISPINS, another Italian brand). Trust us, when looking for ankle boots to wear all day, soft leather that moulds to the foot is a must.
Another winter trend to jump on this season is shearling – inside and out, keeping warm and cosy is now a must for ankle boots – gone are the days of freezing your toes off in a pair of strappy heels, it’s now more acceptable (and on trend) to wear your ankle boots for going out. Wear with a mini or a maxi skirt for extra style points (and a shearling coat for that cool matchy-matchy look).
We also have a great selection of styles from our German brands. Crafted with comfort in mind, but always including a stylish edge, our collection has something for everyone. Take SEMLER, with its more generous fit – ideal for all day wear, yet still smart enough for dressier outfits. WALDLAUFER is another of our German brands with more of a focus on comfort, their styles are perfect for day to day wear, with removable insoles to suit orthotics users and fitted with laces and side zips for ease taking off and on.
We also have up and coming Spanish brand PIE SANTO – with its cowboy boot centred collection (that’s right, old west style is back for another season) sure to be a sell out this season.
